Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bors Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Butcher!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill throws a quick inside leg kick.
Butcher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hill half committed to a counter leg kick.
Hill moves away from the strike by Butcher.
We've been informed that Butcher has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hill throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A little jabbing left from Butcher on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hill has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
Butcher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hill swings for the body but Butcher moves out of range.
Butcher looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Butcher pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Butcher doesn't manage to clinch there - Hill circles away.
Butcher is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Butcher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Hill does no damage.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hill.
Hill throws a combination that misses
and Hill takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hill throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hill wants it to stay on the feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hill.
Hill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Butcher.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Butcher shoots in looking for a takedown. Hill tries to sprawl out of it but Butcher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bors Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Butcher.
Butcher takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Butcher loads up on a big right hand but Hill slips the punch.

Hill is rocked!
The crowd cheers as Hill lands an impressive looking overhand right. Butcher doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Hill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bors Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butcher has his takedown stuffed
and Hill counters with a straight right hand.
Hill seems to have got his legs back now.
Butcher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hill slips a jab and a cross from Butcher.

Hill clinches with his opponent.

Butcher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hill throws out a loose jab but Butcher uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hill blocks a head kick by Butcher.
Butcher throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Butcher gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hill lands a head shot.
Hill dives in and grabs Butcher's left leg, looking for a takedown. Butcher pushes down on Hill's head and hops out.
Hill is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Butcher lands an overhand right.
Hill lands a head kick!

Butcher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Butcher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hill manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hill is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hill is taking a breather. Butcher says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hill seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Butcher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hill stalling away here and it's allowed Butcher to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Butcher is on top in guard.

Hill is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hill has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Butcher in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Butcher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hill managing to control the position.
Butcher tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard.
Butcher trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hill is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bors Hill dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Butcher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Butcher moves into the clinch.

Butcher breaks the clinch.
Butcher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butcher gets slowly back to his feet.
Hill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Butcher manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Butcher thuds his right hand into Hill's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hill lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hill lands with a right hand.
Hill feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Butcher's calf.
Hill looks to land a combination but Butcher avoids it well.
Hill throws a hook to the side of Butcher's head but Butcher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hill takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hill staying out of range there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Butcher throws an overhand right that lands on Hill's shoulder, as Hill tries to avoid the shot.

Hill gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Butcher wants to get back to striking at distance but Hill won't allow it.
Butcher wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hill is trying to drag Butcher to the mat but Butcher just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hill has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Butcher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hill has Butcher pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Butcher manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bors Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Butcher jumps into guard, dragging Hill to the mat.
Butcher is trying to keep Hill in close.
Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Butcher is retaining full guard.
Butcher is trying to control the position but Hill postures up.
Hill throwing strikes but missing.

Butcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Butcher has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hill has managed to get both his arms back between Butcher's legs - danger averted.

Hill trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Butcher manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Butcher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Butcher circles away from the clinch attempt.
Butcher slips under a jab from Hill.
That kick from Hill tenderised Butcher's leg. Butcher is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hill misses the shot to the body.
Hill is looking to slow Butcher down with leg kicks.
Butcher moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off.
Hill tries to counter with a takedown but Butcher is quick to defend against it.
Hill takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Butcher takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Butcher drops Hill with a beautiful combination! Hill stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Butcher is looking for the KO!


It looks like Bors Hill has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hill walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Butcher swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bobby Butcher!
Bobby Butcher gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Bors Hill spoke after the fight, saying 'Well done, you beat an old man'.
