The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wayne stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wayne wants it to stay on the feet.
Wayne walks into a straight right hand from Ashton.
Wayne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ashton.
Ashton has his takedown stuffed
and Wayne counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wayne lands a leg kick that knocks Ashton off balance momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wayne.
Ashton has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Ashton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wayne throws a head kick that half lands.
Rick Ashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ashton.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wayne thows a body kick. Ashton tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ashton looks winded!
Wayne throws a pinpoint strike between Ashton's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Ashton crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Wayne scores a great knockout victory!
