Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabu Loso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Juan Direction!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Direction finds it's target.
Direction loads up on a big right hand but Loso slips the punch.
Direction tries to score with a low kick but Loso moves his leg out of the way.
Loso steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Direction.
Direction is looking to score with low kicks.
The fighters circle momentarily. Loso darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Juan Direction has been cut.
Loso has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Direction finds it's way round the side to connect with Loso's head.
Direction with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Direction tried to score with a low kick but Loso checks it.
Loso scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Direction takes one on the button.
A swing and a miss from Direction.
Direction lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Loso tests Direction's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Direction gets through Loso's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Loso swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Loso ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Direction swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Loso gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Direction counters with a nice leg kick.
Direction scores with a jab to the body.
Loso looks to score with a jab to the body but Direction is just out of range.
Direction connects with an inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick from Direction misses.
Direction scoring well with a low kick there.
A nice inside leg kick there by Direction. That's going to slow Loso down.
Direction closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Direction tries to work over Loso's front leg with a kick but Loso checks it.
Direction throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Juan Direction showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Loso throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Direction lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Direction gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Loso misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Loso creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loso goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Direction pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Direction keeps the fight on the outside.
Direction displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Loso throws out the jab.

It looked like Loso was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Direction.

Loso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Direction tries to counter with a clinch but Loso shakes him off and moves away.
Loso scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Direction is still on wobbly legs! Can Loso finish him?
Direction walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Loso! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
