Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman closes the distance and clinches.
Carroll wants to break the clinch but can't.

Carroll tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Freeman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Carroll got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freeman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carroll has managed to get both his arms back between Freeman's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carroll is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Freeman is just riding it out for now. Carroll eventually gives up the hold.

Carroll is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Freeman defends it well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Carroll would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Freeman wants to improve his position but instead Carroll has moved into half guard.

Carroll is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Carroll wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Matthew Carroll will probably get the nod.
