Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sakamoto fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

and Sakamoto counters with a takedown into side control.

Sakamoto is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hyde's shoulder. That is not cool.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sakamoto working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Hyde is looking to reverse the position.
Sakamoto cracks Hyde with a big right hand but Hyde just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sakamoto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hyde has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hyde and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sakamoto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Hiroshimo Sakamoto has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hyde checks a leg kick.
Sakamoto lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hyde rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sakamoto counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hyde's knee momentarily.
Hyde tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sakamoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.
