Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasongo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Haapasaari is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kasongo.

Haapasaari moves into range and clinches up with Kasongo.
Haapasaari misses with a body punch.

Kasongo gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Haapasaari is concentrating on defense, preventing Kasongo from advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Kasongo seems content to control.

Haapasaari kicks Kasongo off and gets back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kasongo enables Haapasaari to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kasongo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kasongo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haapasaari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Haapasaari drives through and clinches with Kasongo against the cage.
Kasongo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Haapasaari to keep the fight standing.

Haapasaari escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kasongo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Haapasaari gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Haapasaari tries to break the clinch but Kasongo is controlling the position.
