Pellegrini is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nicola Piovani - Il Camorrista. Gil Mills has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills lands with a right hand.
Mills wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mills looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pellegrini fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mills lands a slapping body shot.
Pellegrini tries to close the distance and clinch but Mills swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mills throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pellegrini takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
No luck for Pellegrini with that takedown attempt.
A counter left hand to the body from Mills misses its target.
Mills is looking to wear down Pellegrini with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Pellegrini closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mills cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mills slips under a jab.
Pellegrini throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pellegrini shoots in but Mills avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mills is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Gil Mills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salvatore Pellegrini.
Mills keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mills lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Pellegrini head around and knocks him out cold! Mills hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
