Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denny Burch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Dyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Denny Burch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Dyer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burch shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dyer is trying to defend but Burch finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Dyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dyer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dyer pulls Burch in to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dyer is looking to sweep but instead, Burch has passed into half guard.
Dyer wants to improve his position but Burch is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dyer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dyer.

Burch throwing strikes from guard but Dyer blocks nicely.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dyer is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dyer trying to control but Burch is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dyer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dyer trying to control the position from guard on top but Burch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dyer throwing strikes but missing.
Dyer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burch works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Burch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dyer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Burch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dyer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dyer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dyer tries a low kick but Burch avoids it.

Burch tries to keep at a distance but Dyer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dyer content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Dyer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Burch tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dyer lands a shot to the body.
Burch letting Dyer take a breather here.
Burch misses with a knee to the head.
Burch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
Dyer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Dyer lands a takedown into guard.
Burch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dyer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like Dyer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Dyer dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Dyer clinches with his opponent.
Burch on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Burch wants to break free but Dyer has control.

Dyer has Burch pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dyer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Burch tumbling to the mat - Dyer dives into Burch's guard.

Dyer escapes and gets back to his feet.

Dyer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Burch quickly recovers to half guard.
Burch is looking to get back to is feet but Dyer passes into side control.
Dyer happy to just control the position for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dyer is continuing to stall.
Dyer wants to control but Burch is keeping him busy.
Dyer throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Dyer misses with the ground and pound.
Dyer throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Burch gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Dyer controlling from the full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dyer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Burch is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dyer looking to control and managing it successfully.
Dyer throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Dyer throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Billy Dyer has got the better of the ground game so far.

It looks like Denny Burch has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dyer get's back to his feet.

Dyer takes the fight into the clinch.
Dyer makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Dyer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Denny Burch's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Dyer drives through and clinches with Burch against the cage.
Burch is trying to stall.
Burch stalling.
Dyer tries to break free but Burch pushes him back against the cage.
Burch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dyer smiles and moves away.

Dyer dives in and scores a takedown into Burch's guard.

Burch has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Dyer has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dyer just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dyer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Burch clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Burch is trying to shake Dyer off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Dyer won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dyer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Burch is looking to get back to is feet but Dyer passes into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Burch avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dyer.

Dyer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Burch to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dyer tries to clinch there but Burch circles away.
As Dyer looks to move away, Burch throws a big counter combo but Dyer just gets out of the way.

Dyer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dyer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dyer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dyer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Burch's guard.
Dyer moves into full mount! Burch won't be happy about that!

Dyer is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Dyer misses with a double jab
and Burch counters with a nice uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dyer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Burch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Burch.
Dyer controlling from the top position.

Dyer stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Dyer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burch on his heels. He'll look to pass Burch's guard now, I'm sure.
Denny Burch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Billy Dyer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Dyer stands and steps away. Burch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Billy Dyer.
I've got Dyer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
