The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelmendi swings for the body but Hightower moves out of range.
Kelmendi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hightower manages to avoid it.
Hightower doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hightower moves away from the strike by Kelmendi.
Hightower misses with a combination
and Kelmendi counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Michal Hightower has been cut.
Hightower swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hightower needs to keep his hands up - Kelmendi had a free shot at his head there.
Kelmendi avoids the head kick by Hightower.
Michal Hightower seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hightower swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kelmendi scores with a body shot.
Hightower looks winded!
Kelmendi thuds his right hand into Hightower's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kelmendi cracks Hightower with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hightower looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kelmendi finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kelmendi sends Hightower crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kelmendi is motioning to the referee to let Hightower up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Hightower is rocked!

That has opened up Michal Hightower's cut even more.
Hightower doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kelmendi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hightower sprawling to the canvas! Hightower rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kelmendi finish him?!
Hightower is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelmendi finish him?
Kelmendi lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
