Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keola Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dementri Viscount (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu throws the left hand but Viscount avoids the punch easily.
Fatu circles away from the clinch attempt

and Fatu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Viscount manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Viscount fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fatu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Viscount's elbow.
Fatu tries to work over Viscount's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Fatu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Viscount looks for a takedown but Fatu sprawls well.
Keola Fatu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dementri Viscount.
Viscount tries to close the distance and clinch but Fatu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fatu swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Viscount is defended easily by Fatu.

Viscount closes the distance and clinches up with Fatu, looking for a takedown. Viscount pushes Fatu against the cage but Fatu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Fatu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Viscount tries to clinch but Fatu moves out of range.
Viscount will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fatu is looking to counter with a body kick.
Viscount misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Fatu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Viscount.
Viscount throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fatu's waist but Fatu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Viscount off to one side.
Fatu moves out of range of the strikes.

Viscount misses with a takedown attempt - Fatu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Viscount shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fatu but Fatu pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fatu is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Viscount.

Viscount on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fatu is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Viscount's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
