Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Aliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramses Xll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aliev comes to the cage accompanied by Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal. Xll has chosen Nile - Ramses Bringer of War as his entrance music. Ramses Xll will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xll rushes Aliev and presses him up against the cage.
Aliev tries to break free but Xll pushes him back against the cage.
Aliev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Xll lands with a left to the head.
Xll breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aliev with a nice cross.
Xll misses the shot to the body.
Xll connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A jab from Aliev does it's job there.
It looks like Ramses Xll has been cut.
No joy there for Aliev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Xll cracks Aliev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Xll throws a chopping leg kick but Aliev manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Aliev tries for a takedown but Xll sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Xll throws a hook to the side of Aliev's head but Aliev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Xll connects with a right hand. Aliev shakes it off.
Xll moves into range and clinches up with Aliev.
Aliev has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Aliev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Xll after a bit of a struggle.
Xll breaks from the clinch.
Xll dodges the punch combination from Aliev.
Xll looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Xll connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aliev's hands.
Xll tries to bum rush Aliev with a series of wild strikes but Aliev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Xll pushes Aliev up against the cage in a clinch.
Xll lands with a short shot to the head.
Aliev is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Xll pulls him back up using the underhooks.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aliev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Xll has his foot on Aliev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aliev works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xll wants to get back to his feet but Aliev is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Aliev is working Xll over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Aliev scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Xll had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aliev defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aliev prevents Xll from getting back to his feet.
Xll has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Iron Palace. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Aliev tries to free his leg and advance position but Xll is retaining full guard.
Aliev looking to sit in guard and control but Xll gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Xll throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aliev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Xll controls from within his opponent's guard.
Aliev wants to sweep but no luck.
Xll wants to stand but Aliev has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Aliev looking for a sweep. Not yet Aliev, not yet.
Xll throwing strikes but missing.
Aliev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Xll throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Xll won't allow Aliev to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Xll blocks a jab.
Aliev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Sultan Aliev has been cut.
Aliev misses with a jab, cross combination.
Xll throws out a counter right but Aliev avoids it with no problem.
Xll takes a swing at Aliev's ribcage but misses.
Xll swings for the body but Aliev moves out of range.
Aliev attempts a counter takedown but Xll avoids it well and moves away.
Aliev fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramses Xll dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Aliev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Xll has time to react.

Xll takes a jab right on the kisser.
Aliev throws a nice looking combination but Xll bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Xll has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The fighters circling - Aliev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Aliev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Aliev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Xll to score with a decent uppercut.
Nice uppercut lands for Xll. That snapped Aliev's head back.
Aliev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Xll.
Xll has taken the fight to the clinch.
Aliev drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Xll lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aliev has had enough of the clinch but Xll keeps him there for the moment.

Xll fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Aliev square on the jaw! Damn, Aliev is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
