The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz misses with a wild body shot.
Greer checks a low kick from Schultz.
A head kick by Schultz misses
and Greer counters with an inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Schultz.
Schultz misses with a left hand
and Greer counters with a single leg into guard. Schultz didn't expect that.
Schultz wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Greer manages to pass to side control.
Greer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Schultz tries to kick Greer off but Greer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Greer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Schultz is looking to escape.
Greer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Well, if Greer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

and Greer counters with a nice uppercut.

and Greer counters with a single leg into guard. Schultz didn't expect that.

Schultz wants to stand up but Greer is controlling him.
Greer stays in close to Schultz's body and controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greer stands and steps away. Schultz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Greer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Greer takes the fight into the clinch.

Greer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Schultz can't fight it off and eventually Greer manages to take the fight to the floor. Schultz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Greer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Schultz is working an open guard so Greer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

It looks like Jerome Greer has been cut.

Schultz throws a nice looking combination but Greer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Greer gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Greer tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Schultz is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Greer buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Greer!! Greer is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Schultz throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
