Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jim Beckett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasva Jorma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorma has chosen Captain Awesome's Theme Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jorma stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jorma wants it to stay on the feet.
Beckett throws a jab but it's blocked by Jorma.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beckett connects with a nice short shot to Jorma's temple.

Jorma throws a lazy right hand but Beckett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Beckett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jorma is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beckett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beckett's back!

Beckett is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jorma gets his way!
