The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marfaker's corner calls for a 1-2. Marfaker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Marfaker lands a left and a right that send Fredrick crashing to the mat, dazed. Marfaker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ronald Fredrick has been cut.

Marfaker lands a big right hand that sends Fredrick crashing to the mat! Marfaker stays standing though and waves Fredrick back to his feet!

Fredrick is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fredrick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marfaker circles away.
Marfaker looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Marfaker backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Fredrick's temple! It sends Fredrick violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Marfaker celebrates and the doctors try to help Fredrick!

After winning the bout, Juan Marfaker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
