Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Rydeland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaino Siitaari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rydeland comes to the cage accompanied by Robbery - Not sneak attack. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rydeland avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rydeland rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Siitaari connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Siitaari jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rydeland walks away with a smile on his face. Siitaari gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
John Rydeland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaino Siitaari.
Rydeland uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Siitaari shoots in looking for a takedown but Rydeland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Siitaari's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Siitaari walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Siitaari shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rydeland defends it nicely.

Rydeland uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Siitaari has time to react.

The crowd cheers as Rydeland lands an impressive looking overhand right. Siitaari doesn't seem phased though.
Rydeland lands a left and a right that send Siitaari crashing to the mat, dazed. Rydeland thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Siitaari is rocked!
Rydeland drops Siitaari with a big left hand! Siitaari is injured, injured bad! Rydeland jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Rydeland!
A relieved looking John Rydeland thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
