The crowd seem to be enjoying Gabriel's choice of entrance music: Slow Love by MØ. Eric Gabriel acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson with a nice cross.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Gabriel.
Johnson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gabriel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gabriel tries to land a leg kick but Johnson saw it coming and moves away.
Gabriel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Johnson throws a head kick but Gabriel moves out of range.
Gabriel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gabriel throws a lazy head kick
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gabriel.
Gabriel looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.
Johnson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A low kick from Gabriel is predictable there
and Johnson counters with a straight right hand.

Gabriel is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gabriel walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gabriel from any more punishment! Gabriel complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
