The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunningham dives in and scores a takedown into Boyka's guard.

Boyka manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Boyka darts in and clinches Cunningham up against the cage.
Boyka misses with a knee strike.
Boyka using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cunningham has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Boyka is struggling to control the position.

Boyka lands a nice elbow.
Cunningham gets underhooks to prevent Boyka's takedown attempt.
Cunningham jumps guard but Boyka stands there with Cunningham around his waist. Cunningham gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cunningham drags the fight down to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boyka stands up and waves to Cunningham to follow him.
Boyka misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cunningham darts in looking for a takedown but Boyka gets double underhooks and turns Cunningham into the cage.
As Cunningham backs off Boyka throws a huge counter combo but Cunningham manages to avoid it all.

Boyka moves into the clinch.
Boyka works on Cunningham's body with a couple of short punches.
Cunningham tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boyka smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danial Cunningham. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Boyka counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Boyka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boyka wants it to stay on the feet.

and Boyka counters with a series of strikes. Cunningham will be more careful next time no doubt.

Boyka is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Cunningham is in big trouble! Boyka is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Cunningham. Poor guy.
