Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Galvao!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galvao takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Donk. Asher catches Galvao right on the button with a cross.
Galvao walks into a straight right hand from Asher.
Asher definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Asher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Asher smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Galvao throws the left hand but Asher avoids the punch easily.
Asher moves out of range as Galvao throws a body kick.
Asher lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Asher misses with a series of wild punches.
Galvao feints the counter takedown.
Decent striking displayed by Asher there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Asher lands a jab to the nose.
Asher lands with a straight right. Galvao didn't see that one coming.

Asher drops Galvao with a beautiful combination! Galvao stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Asher is looking for the KO!


Galvao is rocked!
Asher swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Galvao.
Galvao is still on wobbly legs! Can Asher finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Galvao takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Galvao seems to have recovered his senses.

Asher feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Galvao sprawling to the canvas! Galvao rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Asher finish him?!
Asher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cameron Asher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Galvao drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cameron Asher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Asher changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Galvao on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Asher throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Galvao takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Asher throws an overhand right that drops Galvao like a sack of potatoes! Asher dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
