Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nero Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padilla comes into the arena with Dead by Dawn by Deicide blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Custer throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Padilla escapes and throws Custer's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Padilla is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Custer sees it coming and defends easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Nero Padilla will probably get the nod.
