The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Clay there.
Clay throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Monday now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

The crowd cheers as Monday lands an impressive looking overhand right. Clay doesn't seem phased though.
Monday fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clay.

It looks like Mike Monday has been cut.
Clay seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monday throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Clay stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Monday fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clay manages to avoid it.
Monday lands a nice hook to Clay's body. Clay takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Clay throws a head kick that misses.

Monday walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Clay drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Monday swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Clay's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

After winning the bout, Mike Monday thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
