Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayabusa comes to the cage accompanied by Paris. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa shoots for a double leg takedown but Torres sprawls well. He's pushed Hayabusa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hayabusa moves out of range of the leg kick from Torres.
Torres throws a leg kick
and Hayabusa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Torres tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hayabusa was well out of range. Poor timing from Torres.
Torres throws a right hand that Hayabusa ducks under and follows up with a left that Hayabusa also avoids with ease.
Torres misses with an uppercut
and Hayabusa counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Torres lands a head shot.
Torres scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Torres dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hayabusa. That did some damage!

Torres throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hayabusa sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Hayabusa counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've been informed that Torres has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hayabusa is looking to counter the offense by Torres and move into the clinch.
Alfredo Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Torres is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hayabusa is aware though and is defending well.
Torres pushes a forearm under Hayabusa's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hayabusa is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
