The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sinned's waist but Sinned gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cortez off to one side.
Sinned doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sinned.
Cortez takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Cortez tries for a takedown but Sinned sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sinned uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cortez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The crowd cheers as Sinned lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cortez doesn't seem phased though.

A chopping leg kick lands by Sinned.

Sinned rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cortez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sinned lands with a right hand.
Cortez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sinned sprawls well. Sinned wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cortez gets slowly back to his feet.

Sinned sizes up Cortez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sinned clobbers Cortez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sinned connects with a jab.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Sinned.
Sinned fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cortez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cortez will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Cortez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Sinned counters with a nice uppercut.

Cortez is rocked!

Sinned cracks Cortez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sinned has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cortez to stand back up!
Oh Cortez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sinned connects with a stiff jab that staggers Cortez - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Judas Sinned!
Judas Sinned was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
