The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dijkstra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Edwards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dijkstra manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Edwards doesn't manage to clinch there - Dijkstra circles away.
Dijkstra appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Edwards takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Edwards tries to clinch but Dijkstra is having none of it.
Dijkstra lands a glancing blow to the side of Edwards's head.
Dijkstra shoots in looking for a takedown but Edwards manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dijkstra's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dijkstra scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Edwards doesn't seem bothered though.
An inside leg kick lands from Dijkstra.

Dijkstra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Edwards is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dijkstra, into his guard.

Dijkstra looking to sit in guard and control but Edwards gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Edwards is posturing up here but Dijkstra has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Edwards tries to roll out but it's too tight and Edwards has to tap! Slick submission there by Dijkstra!
