Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunner Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jyrki Kasvi!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasvi throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it.

Harris tries to clinch up but Kasvi circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Harris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Jyrki Kasvi has been cut.

We've been hearing reports that Harris has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kasvi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Harris throws a nice looking combination but Kasvi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Harris dives in for a single leg takedown but Kasvi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kasvi tries to bum rush Harris with a series of wild strikes but Harris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Horrible takedown attempt by Harris or perhaps it was just good defense by Kasvi, which made it look bad.

Harris throws a right hand that Kasvi ducks under and follows up with a left that Kasvi also avoids with ease.
Kasvi throws a series of punches but Harris avoids them all with ease.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kasvi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Harris seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kasvi as he avoids it easily.

Harris has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kasvi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kasvi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

It looks like Gunner Harris has been cut.
Kasvi swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Harris tries for a takedown but Kasvi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kasvi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kasvi is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kasvi. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kasvi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kasvi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kasvi throws a strike but Harris rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kasvi walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gunner Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris is looking to regain half guard here but Kasvi keeps moving and retains side control.
Kasvi is looking to take a break and control but Harris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kasvi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harris haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

I've got Kasvi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
