Graves comes to the cage accompanied by London Calling. Van Roost has chosen Cypress Hill - How I Could Just Kill A Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graves shoots in for a double leg but Van Roost sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

I was talking to Graves's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Graves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Van Roost can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Van Roost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Graves has his foot on Van Roost's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Van Roost works his way back into a safe position though.

Graves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Graves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Roost gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
My spies in Midnight MMA inform me that Van Roost has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Graves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Van Roost defends well.

Van Roost is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Graves has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Van Roost is looking to defend but Graves has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Van Roost! Graves pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Van Roost taps out and this one is all over!
