Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ville Marakatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacare Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marakatti comes to the cage accompanied by Beyoncé - Halo. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jacare Romero was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Romero connects with a nice looking jab.

Marakatti shoots in for a takedown but Romero shows good takedown defense.
Marakatti takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Romero lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marakatti throws a hook to the side of Romero's head but Romero sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
No joy there for Romero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marakatti closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Romero missing with a left hand there. Marakatti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Romero connects with the punch.

Romero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marakatti to the mat! Marakatti manages to get full guard.

Romero throws a sloppy strike and Marakatti has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Romero is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Marakatti!
