The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nazirite has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Soler counters with a two punch combo.
Soler is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Nazirite thuds his right hand into Soler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Soler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nazirite paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nazirite throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The crowd cheers as Nazirite lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soler doesn't seem phased though.

Nazirite throws a hook to the side of Soler's head but Soler sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Soler wants to clinch up but Nazirite keeps it at a distance.
Nazirite wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nazirite misses with an uppercut. Soler saw that one coming.

Soler clinches up with Nazirite and pushes him back against the cage.

Oh Soler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nazirite might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
