The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Puno throws a jab when Goldsmith was well out of range.
Puno misses the shot to the body.
Goldsmith looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Puno tries to bum rush Goldsmith with a series of wild strikes but Goldsmith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Goldsmith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puno fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Goldsmith walks into a stiff left hand from Puno.

Goldsmith clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puno breaks the clinch.
Goldsmith takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Puno lands a jab to the head.
Goldsmith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Puno. Puno obviously looking to wear him down.

Puno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goldsmith.

Puno fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Goldsmith on the side of the head.

Goldsmith throws a series of punches but Puno avoids them all with ease.

Goldsmith drives through and clinches with Puno against the cage.
Puno wants to get back to striking at distance but Goldsmith won't allow it.
Goldsmith looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Goldsmith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Puno avoids it.
Goldsmith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Puno pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fighters circling - Puno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Goldsmith is looking for a counter combo.
Puno lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Puno lets loose with a powerful body kick. Goldsmith will feel that in the morning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goldsmith throws a nice looking combination but Puno bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Puno avoids the head kick by Goldsmith.
Puno lands with a right hand.
Goldsmith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Puno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Goldsmith is rocked!
Puno ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Goldsmith out cold! The fight is over!
