The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhew throws a leg kick but Schultz sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mayhew throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Mayhew gets caught napping as Schultz dives in and scores a takedown. Mayhew manages to retain guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mayhew manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Schultz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mayhew regains guard immediately.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schultz stands up and waves to Mayhew to follow him.
Schultz takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Mayhew can't find room to land a body shot as Schultz controls the action.
Mayhew is trying to maintain a safe position but Schultz gets an underhook and turns Mayhew into the cage.
Schultz misses with a body punch.
Schultz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mayhew pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Schultz tries for a takedown. No joy.

Schultz decides to pull guard.

Schultz has his feet on Mayhew's thighs here. He's pushed Mayhew off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mayhew screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
