Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Charles Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Only (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Only has chosen Third World as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lester Only has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Only drives through with a takedown into guard.

Brock is looking for a triangle but Only pushes his legs off easily.

Brock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Only gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Only trying to control the position from guard on top but Brock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Only gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Only is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Only's back instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Only manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brock's guard. Nice work there by Only.
Only landing some decent shots from guard.

Only tries to stand but Brock is controlling from the bottom.
Only throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brock works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Only chips away with some ground and pound.
Only missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Only trying to control the position from guard on top but Brock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Brock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Only doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Only manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brock has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Only is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brock.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
An inside leg kick from Only misses.
Only lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Only uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brock has time to react.

Brock with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Only to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Brock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Only wants to take a breather but Brock is having none of it.

Only ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brock moves away.

Brock shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Only's guard.

Only pushes Brock off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Only feints and as Brock raises his hands in defense, Only changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
