Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ian Behring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2nd Sucks - A Day To Remember. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ian Behring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Calvin Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Behring's guard.
Brooks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Behring's head.
Brooks distracts Behring with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brooks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brooks trying to control the position from guard on top but Behring is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Behring is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brooks defends well.
Behring keeping moving, preventing Brooks from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brooks wants to pass the guard but Behring is defending well.
Brooks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Brooks thows a huge punch but Behring dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brooks connects with a nice short shot to Behring's temple.
Behring is staying active underneath Brooks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Brooks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Brooks uses his free foot to push down on Behring's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Behring.
Behring tries to reverse the position but Brooks maintains control.

Brooks jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Behring manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Behring is working to avoid the ground and pound but Brooks connects with a decent elbow.

Brooks tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Behring tries to bench press Brooks off him but Brooks keeps the position.
Ian Behring has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Brooks moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Calvin Brooks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brooks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Calvin Brooks was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
