Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Cahill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Moses Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Cahill!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Berg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Berg clinches up against the cage.
Cahill leaning his opponent against the cage.
Cahill wants to get back to striking at distance but Berg won't allow it.
Cahill is trying to force a seperation but Berg has the dominant position.
Cahill tries to break the clinch but Berg is controlling the position.
Berg lands a nice knee to the body.
Cahill is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Berg to keep the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berg slowing the pace effectively.
A nice right hand lands inside from Berg.
Cahill blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Berg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cahill walks away with a smile on his face. Berg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cahill has closed the distance and engaged Berg in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cahill wants to stall.
Berg prevents the takedown attempt.
Berg with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Jim Cahill has been cut.
Cahill jumps guard but Berg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Moses Berg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Cahill.
Berg has Cahill pushed against the cage.
Cahill misses with a body punch.
Berg looking to throw knees to the head but Cahill is blocking nicely.

Berg wants the takedown. Cahill is fighting it off but Berg persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cahill's guard against the cage.
Berg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cahill on the ground.

Cahill is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Berg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Berg won't allow Cahill to get back to his feet.
Berg is working Cahill over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cahill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Berg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cahill has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Cahill is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Berg looking to pass the guard.
Berg is looking to work some ground and pound but Cahill has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cahill wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berg scores with a decent looking elbow strike.


That has opened up Jim Cahill's cut even more.
Berg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cahill's head.


Cahill is rocked!
Berg postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cahill is still in real trouble! Can Berg finish him?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cahill looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cahill looking for a sweep. Not yet Cahill, not yet.
Cahill seems to have recovered his senses.
Berg wants to stand and escape but instead Cahill has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Cahill is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Berg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Berg has escaped and now he's on top!


That's four minutes gone in the round.
Berg postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cahill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Berg's guard.

Berg has a closed guard, preventing Cahill from standing up.

Berg has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cahill doesn't defend quickly enough and Berg has managed to lock this one up! Can Cahill escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Berg on a fantastic submission victory.
