Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tangaroa Ngata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Umanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ngata comes to the cage accompanied by Soundcritters - Haka War Chant. Alexandre Umanov will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tangaroa Ngata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alexandre Umanov!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ngata gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ngata lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Umanov backwards.
Ngata lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Umanov tries to break the clinch but Ngata is controlling the position.
Umanov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ngata.
Umanov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Umanov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A shot in the inside from Ngata.
Ngata tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Umanov's elbow.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ngata creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ngata lands with a right to the head.

Umanov is rocked!
Ngata dips a shoulder and cracks Umanov with a mighty uppercut! Umanov falls back against the cage and Ngata unloads with a barrage of strikes! Umanov is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ngata screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tangaroa Ngata!
A less than humble Tangaroa Ngata misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
