Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hakeem Rusla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andrei Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Hakeem Rusla has been cut.
Rusla fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rusla looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gonzales shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gonzales misses with a takedown attempt - Rusla sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gonzales's coach down at KING OF PAIN was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gonzales's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rusla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gonzales misses with a body shot.
Rusla takes one to the chin there.

Rusla scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gonzales doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hakeem Rusla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Gonzales.
Rusla creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Gonzales has Rusla pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gonzales pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rusla tumbling to the mat - Gonzales dives into Rusla's guard.
Gonzales is in close to Rusla's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gonzales slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gonzales has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rusla wants to get back to his feet but Gonzales is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gonzales postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Gonzales connects with a couple of short punches.
Gonzales stands and throws Rusla's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rusla knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gonzales on the ground.
Gonzales tries for a kimura but Rusla is defending well.

Rusla is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gonzales asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Gonzales is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rusla looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gonzales gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rusla is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gonzales lets go of the hold and Rusla can pop his arm back in it's socket.
