The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dica is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dica tries to clinch but Lesley is having none of it.

Dica shoots for a takedown but Lesley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lesley, right into the meat.
Lesley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dica.
Dica shoots in looking for a takedown but Lesley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dica's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dica shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lesley misses with a straight left.

A punch lands to the side of Dica 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Lesley counters by moving into the clinch.

Dica is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Lesley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dica shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lesley sprawls well. Lesley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dica gets slowly back to his feet.
Lesley thumps Dica with a low kick.
Dica throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lesley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dica walks into a straight right hand from Lesley.
Dica takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lesley jabs Dica to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dica tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lesley swivels and escapes.
Stephen Lesley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dica swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lesley clinches up with Dica and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

With the fighters up against the cage, Dica throws an elbow but misses.

Lesley is pressed up against the cage. Dica has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lesley down to the mat. Lesley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lesley comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd cheers as Lesley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dica doesn't seem phased though.

Dica is rocked!
Lesley drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Dica's head, knocking him out cold! Lesley is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
