The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iskandar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Adams throws the left hand but Iskandar avoids the punch easily.
Iskandar drops down looking for a counter takedown but Adams sprawls and moves away.
Adams throws a looping overhand right but Iskandar ducks down to avoid it.
Adams throws a big shot that misses.
Adams misses with a looping right.
Some wild striking there from Iskandar.
Adams now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Iskandar jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Adams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Iskandar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Iskandar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adams to score with a decent uppercut.
Adams scores with a nice body kick.
Iskandar slips a straight right by Adams.
A telegraphed right hand from Iskandar misses the target.

Adams lands a big uppercut and Iskandar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Iskandar looks OK. Adams waves Iskandar back to his feet!

It seemed like Adams was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Benedikt Iskandar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Iskandar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adams circles away quickly and effectively.
Adams dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Adams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Iskandar's hands.

Iskandar looks to land a left hand but Adams moved out of range nicely.
Adams throws a hook to the side of Iskandar's head but Iskandar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Adams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Iskandar attempts a counter takedown but Adams avoids it well and moves away.

Good leg kick by Adams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Iskandar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Adams is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Iskandar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Iskandar throws a looping overhand right but Adams ducks down to avoid it.

A slapping body kick lands there for Adams.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Adams, as that shot connected.
Oh Iskandar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Iskandar seems to have got his legs back now.
Adams dodges the punch combination from Iskandar.

Adams sends Iskandar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Adams is motioning to the referee to let Iskandar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Adams moves into range and connects with a jab.
Iskandar leaves his chin hanging out and Adams seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Iskandar crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
