The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira misses with a takedown attempt
and Myers counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Myers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Myers thuds his right hand into Vieira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A left lands for Myers.
Myers lands a nice shot to the body.

Myers clinches with his opponent.
Vieira tries to break free but Myers pushes him back against the cage.
Myers stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Vieira tries to pull guard but Myers forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcio Vieira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Myers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Myers makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Myers works on Vieira's body with a couple of short punches.
Vieira changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Myers fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Myers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Myers throws a nice outside leg kick.
Vieira doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
Myers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vieira if he has to take too many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Myers works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vieira avoids the head kick by Myers.

Myers throws a front kick that sends Vieira stumbling back into the cage.
Myers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vieira gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Myers.

Vieira is rocked!
Myers circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Vieira tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Myers wins by KO!
