The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush scores with a crisp jab that stopped Martins in his tracks.
Martins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Martins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rush sees it coming and defends easily.
Martins is looking to take a break and control but Rush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
