Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arn Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aldo Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderson.
Anderson scores with a body shot.
Aldo Pitbull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson tries to move into range but Pitbull moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Anderson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pitbull doesn't seem bothered though.
Anderson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A punch lands to the side of Pitbull 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pitbull lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Anderson throws a hook to the side of Pitbull's head but Pitbull sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pitbull! But no joy.
A punch combination from Anderson misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson lands with an uppercut that bounces Pitbull off the cage and back into range.

Pitbull connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Anderson momentarily.


It looks like Arn Anderson has been cut.
Pitbull keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Anderson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Shark Tank in the buildup to the fight.
Pitbull bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pitbull tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range.

Pitbull connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Anderson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Anderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Anderson scores with a nice right hand.
Anderson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pitbull tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Pitbull.

Pitbull clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage.
Pitbull has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Anderson is stalling here.

Pitbull lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Anderson missing with a left hand there. Pitbull was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pitbull lands with a kick to the ribs.

Pitbull looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Pitbull throws a front kick that sends Anderson stumbling back into the cage.

Anderson throws a nice looking combination but Pitbull bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anderson swings for the body but Pitbull moves out of range.
Anderson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pitbull eats them both and turns towards Anderson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anderson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pitbull - the referee stops the clock and Anderson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pitbull. Anderson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pitbull lands a jab to the head.
Pitbull doesn't manage to clinch there - Anderson circles away.

A jab from Pitbull does it's job there.
Anderson throws a sloppy body shot
and Pitbull counters with a stiff right hand.


Arn Anderson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Pitbull is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Anderson misses with a hook. Pitbull ducked under it nicely.
Pitbull has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Pitbull lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pitbull is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Anderson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Pitbull gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Anderson tries to circle away but Pitbull has him pinned against the cage.

Jeez, Arn Anderson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Pitbull slowing the pace effectively.
Pitbull looking to throw knees to the head but Anderson is blocking nicely.

Pitbull pushes off an throws an elbow but Anderson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Anderson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
The referee calls for Pitbull to work.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Anderson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pitbull lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Anderson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Pitbull.
Pitbull has Anderson pressed against the cage, preventing Anderson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pitbull lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pitbull goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Pitbull tries to stall but Anderson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Anderson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pitbull moves away.
Anderson connects with a right hand. Pitbull shakes it off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Pitbull has him pressed against the cage.
Aldo Pitbull seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Pitbull pushes Anderson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Anderson wants to get back to striking at distance but Pitbull won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Pitbull creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Anderson's defenses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitbull lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Pitbull swings wildly with an uppercut but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Anderson blocks an elbow strike from Pitbull.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arn Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
