Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sir Mixalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Freed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mixalot comes to the cage accompanied by Baby Got Back. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mixalot tries to avoid it but Freed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mixalot to the ground. Mixalot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Freed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mixalot.
Freed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mixalot pinned against the cage. Mixalot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Freed shoots in for a takedown but Mixalot shows good takedown defense.
Mixalot has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.
Sir Mixalot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Freed.
Freed takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mixalot as he jumps to the side.
Mixalot feinted with a counter takedown.
Freed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mixalot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Freed somewhat.
A counter left hand to the body from Mixalot misses its target.

Freed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mixalot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Freed doesn't seem bothered though.
Freed looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mixalot thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Freed striking off his back but it's not causing Mixalot any problems.
Mixalot looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Freed can't keep his opponent in guard - Mixalot advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mixalot wants to free his trapped foot but Freed is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Freed is refusing to be controlled, as Mixalot sits in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mixalot passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Freed!

Mixalot is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Freed can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
