The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Zaromskis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gonzalez misses with the combination.
Zaromskis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gonzalez manages to circle out of the way.
Anthony Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaromskis closes the distance but Gonzalez moves to the side
and Gonzalez counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Zaromskis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gonzalez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've been informed that Gonzalez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gonzalez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaromskis is fending him off so far but Gonzalez persists. Nope, Zaromskis circles away and we're back to standing.
