Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willy Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daft Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonka comes to the cage accompanied by Mr Rotten Treats - Insane Clown Posse. Young has chosen Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wonka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wonka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Young defends it nicely.
Young plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Willy Wonka has been cut.

We've been informed that Young has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Young has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Wonka is on him like a limpet, forcing Young back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Young throws a lazy right hand but Wonka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wonka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Young closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Young makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Wonka really felt that one!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Daft Young is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wonka shoots in looking for a takedown but Young manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wonka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I would just about give that final round to Daft Young.
Well Young has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
