Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oshan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petros Prokopos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oshan Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Petros Prokopos!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokopos shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Prokopos sprawls and moves away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Prokopos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Petros Prokopos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Prokopos defends it well.

Prokopos dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Oshan Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Prokopos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Prokopos.
A big shot lands for Jackson! That's hurt Prokopos! Will he recover? Jackson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Our winner, Oshan Jackson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
