Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ed Skank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Skank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skank throws a nice looking combination but Rogan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Skank enables Rogan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Skank manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Skank is trying to control the position but Rogan postures up.

Rogan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skank manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rogan has Skank in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skank wants to pass the guard but Rogan is keeping the position.
Rogan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Skank looking to sit in guard and control but Rogan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rogan holds on and takes a little breather.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Skank lands a slapping body shot.
Rogan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Skank connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rogan scrambles back to his feet.

Rogan moves forwards but Skank connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Skank is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rogan is defending well.

Skank has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Skank has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rogan wants to stand but Skank has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rogan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Skank's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rogan under the eye.
Skank fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rogan on the side of the head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rogan darts in looking for a takedown but Skank gets double underhooks and turns Rogan into the cage.

Rogan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Rogan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Skank clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Skank is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rogan gets his way!

Ed Skank is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Skank trying to control the action but Rogan just sinks the hooks in.

Rogan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Skank is defending well though. Rogan let's go of the attempt for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Skank tries to escape but Rogan has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Skank manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rogan's guard. Nice work there by Skank.
Rogan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Skank controls the pace.
Skank trying to control the position from guard on top but Rogan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rogan controls Skank momentarily but Skank frees himself.

I think Skank has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
