The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owraa shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Owraa throws a hook but Anderson blocks it.
A left and a right from Anderson both land. Nice combination.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Owraa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson winds up and cracks Owraa with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Uruk Owraa has been cut.
Anderson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Owraa has his foot on Anderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Anderson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Owraa quite badly. Owraa pulls Anderson in close trying to recover. Anderson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Owraa on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Owraa doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Turd Anderson!
A very excited looking Turd Anderson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
