Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Jon.
We've been told by Gracie's head coaches at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gracie takes one to the chin there.
Gracie takes a swing at Jon's ribcage but misses.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Jon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jon with the counter takedown but Gracie avoids it easily.
Jon lands a jab.
Jon looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Jon.
Jon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jon jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jon lands a few punches from side control.

Gracie is looking to reverse the position.
Gracie is trying to escape the position but Jon is controlling the position.
Jon throws a strike aimed at the side of Gracie's head but Gracie avoids it well.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jon has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jon is looking to reverse the position.
Jon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Jon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.

Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Jon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jon.
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jon slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Jon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jon keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gracie's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie won't allow Jon to sweep him here.
Jon looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Gracie puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Jon tries to land a sweep but no joy.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jon tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Jon sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jon drives through with a takedown into Gracie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Jon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie has his foot on Jon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jon works his way back into a safe position though.
Jon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gracie's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Gracie tries to bench press Jon off him but Jon keeps the position.

Jon looks up at the clock and then as Gracie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jon smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gracie is not content to let Jon control the position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jon lands a nice short elbow.
Jon winds up and cracks Gracie with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
Jon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jon is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jon shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gracie wants to take a breather but Jon is having none of it.

Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Jon, which made it look bad.

Gracie has hold of Jon's hands but Jon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
