The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gorman working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Gorman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Gorman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ashashana's efforts to push away.

Gorman scores with a hook to the body. Ashashana takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ashashana looks winded!
Gorman connects with a body shot.

Gorman clinches up with Ashashana and pushes him back against the cage.

Gorman moves into the clinch.

Gorman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ashashana throws a quick inside leg kick.

Gorman drops Ashashana with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ashashana looks back up at him and smiles so Gorman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Ofozeli Ashashana has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gorman moves into the clinch successfully.
Gorman avoiding damage.
Gorman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ashashana is defending well for now.

Ashashana seems to have recovered his senses.
Ashashana is trying to maintain a safe position but Gorman gets an underhook and turns Ashashana into the cage.

Gorman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gorman creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ashashana's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ashashana drops to his knees and Gorman pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Bartley Gorman decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
