With a record of 31 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viulu misses with a double jab.
Velasquez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Velasquez misses with a low kick.
Velasquez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Viulu tries to clinch but Velasquez is having none of it.
Velasquez throws a big counter head kick but Viulu avoids it with no problem.
Viulu looks to land a right hand but Velasquez moved out of range.
Viulu tries to clinch but Velasquez moves out of range.

Viulu has managed to clinch.
Viulu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Viulu struggles to land a body shot inside as Velasquez controls his hands.

Velasquez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Velasquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Viulu swings for the body but Velasquez moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viulu blocks a low kick nicely.
Viulu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Velasquez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Viulu cracks Velasquez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Velasquez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Viulu finish him?

It looks like Juan Velasquez has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Velasquez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Viulu throws out the jab.
Velasquez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Viulu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Velasquez.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Velasquez is looking to slow Viulu down with leg kicks.
Viulu tries to clinch up.
Velasquez staying out of range there.
Nice uppercut lands for Viulu. That snapped Velasquez's head back.

Velasquez is rocked!
Velasquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Velasquez is still on wobbly legs! Can Viulu finish him?

Viulu moves into the clinch successfully.
Velasquez seems to have recovered his senses.
Viulu swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Velasquez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Viulu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Velasquez.
Viulu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Velasquez circles away quickly and effectively.
and Viulu counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Velasquez! He's just covering up as Viulu starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luu Viulu!
A relieved looking Luu Viulu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
