Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan McAlister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McAlister comes to the cage accompanied by Althia and Donna - Uptown Top Ranking. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 31 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Duncan McAlister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenta Yuudai!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McAlister rushes Yuudai and presses him up against the cage.
Yuudai lands a right hand that snaps the head of McAlister backwards.

Yuudai decides to pull guard.

Yuudai is looking for a triangle here but McAlister uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McAlister tries to clinch but Yuudai is having none of it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yuudai has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yuudai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McAlister doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yuudai.

Yuudai is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed McAlister to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Duncan McAlister will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kenta Yuudai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yuudai drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McAlister manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yuudai has McAlister in his guard.

Kenta Yuudai has got the better of the ground game so far.

McAlister gets to his feet - Yuudai follows without any prompting.
McAlister tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yuudai swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Yuudai is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McAlister to keep the fight standing.

Yuudai is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McAlister can't fight it off and eventually Yuudai manages to take the fight to the floor. McAlister looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
