Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silvestro Udinesi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Kerplon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francis Kerplon !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udinesi tries a head kick but it misses.

Nice combo by Udinesi! Oh, that's hurt him - Kerplon falls to the canvas and Udinesi follows him into side control.


It looks like Francis Kerplon has been cut.
Kerplon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kerplon is doing well to control the position and prevent Udinesi from advancing to side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kerplon tries to keep at a distance but Udinesi has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kerplon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udinesi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kerplon stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Udinesi has Kerplon up against the cage in a clinch.

Udinesi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Udinesi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Kerplon clinches.
Kerplon content to slow the pace in the clinch.

A head kick by Udinesi misses

and Kerplon counters with a single leg into guard. Udinesi didn't expect that.
Udinesi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Udinesi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kerplon throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Udinesi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and Udinesi counters with a left and a right that hurts Kerplon ! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Udinesi jumps into full mount!


Kerplon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kerplon wants to get back to his feet.
Kerplon is still in real trouble! Can Udinesi finish him?
Kerplon is in all sorts of trouble here.

Udinesi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kerplon has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kerplon !
Kerplon seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerplon tries to free his leg and advance position but Udinesi is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kerplon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udinesi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kerplon stands and throws Udinesi's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kerplon checks a leg kick.

Kerplon wants to counter the offense by Udinesi and move into the clinch position.

Udinesi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Udinesi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kerplon tries to avoid it but Udinesi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kerplon to the ground. Kerplon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kerplon flicks out a counter leg kick but Udinesi steps away.

It looked like Udinesi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Silvestro Udinesi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
